I was very happy with the service. I got a lot of work experience, in which I found working with figures suited me. Due to my disability, sitting at a desk and work handed to me, suited best. I got work experience in an accountants office in September 2011 and in October 2011 I was taken on for 21 hrs a week and I am still there since.

"Work Start, now EmployAbility Service West Cork, was one of the very first organisations I sought out and have continued to work with since arriving in West Cork with my family some years ago.

Uniquely in my experience.
EmployAbility Service West Cork offers that magic combination of guidance, support,
employment, and, most important of all, hope and self respect - at a time when the people it serves
are most in need of all the help they can get.

I believe
EmployAbility Service West Cork represents one of the pillars that justify West Cork seeing itself as, in every
sense, a 'caring community'.

My family and I are delighted to support the entire team at
EmployAbility Service West Cork in their extraordinary efforts to make life that bit better for those who come to them in need of help."

I am happy to support EmployAbility Service West Cork as I have first hand knowledge of the difference the service has made to people who face challenges at certain times in their lives and how they have been guided back into useful and fulfilling employment.  I have observed from the employers' point of view how the employer has received the same support and guidance and how this service has proved to be a win win situation for everybody involved.

"I was made redundant about 2 years ago and it really hit me hard. I was new to the area and was not sure how to proceed with applying for jobs. I saw a flyer for EmployAbility Service West Cork and decided to get in touch. I have found them to be excellent, they gave me a lot of help. On a practical level, they sent me information about upcoming jobs and helped with my CV, also sent in applications on my behalf, so all I had to do was just say that yes, I am interested. I also got help with interview preparation and they gave me feedback afterwards which was a great help for later interviews. With their help and encouragement, I am now back in full time employment. I can fully recommend their personable, supportive and professional services to anyone. Thank you EmployAbility Service West Cork staff! Your help meant that I got my life back on track!"
